I shot that with a Panasonic HDC-SD1. It’s an AVCHD hi-def camera. It was cutting edge when I bought it but I suspect that you can get a comparable (or better) camera for the same or less money.
The video was edited in iMovie which is pre-loaded on all Mac computers. I hope that assists!
