All i can find is the bloody number for business laptops etc but jack shit for home edition laptops. Seriously winding me up! Little help please?!

I want to make a website for marketing products or doing small home based business. It costs too much to hire someone to do it for you. So if someone can guide me, I would really appreciate it. Also is HTML better to go with or just use a blog?.
