Thank you, James. I’ve never been to Ireland and have always wanted to go, especially in order to see Ennis and County Clare. I look forward to more of your movies!

Nice little video for a nice little town. I spent a couple days there in Aug. 09, could easily go back for a couple more. The museum at the tourist info centre was quite impressive and I highly recommend the Bee Hive Restaurant for lunch.

i love ennis
who are ya
i am from barefield outside ennis
he lives 20 minuetes away from me!
Thanks for that!! As an Irish transplant with a yen for the Old Country, and all things Clare, and Ennis…it was wonderful to see the town and the Cathedral. Hello to all Mungovans from the windy city of Chicago!
Fantastic music !!!
He then moves to the Tech-school (ennis community college) owners of the sports field you saw earlier in the video -> and back to the start on his walk home past the sports field on the way up towards the lahinch road. done this cause im bored but hope it helps with understanding ennis
He takes a look at the market from many angles -> moves to the cathedral about 3mins walk from the market but also can be seen from the market over soom buildings -> looks at the old ground hotel, lovely food there -> walks from the old ground up o connells street (main street of ennis) stops at the top of it for some angles of the streets -> walks down abby street -> passes the police station and moves towards the library over the bridge thats parts the two
He’s walking down the Lahinch road going towards town, first bridge he looks over at the river is the terret bridge over the river fergus -> the field is the tech-schools sports field -> the wallfall (dam) is near the field and is also on the river fergus -> he looks over the 2nd side of the same bridge over looking the dam -> skips about a 7-10min walk to parnel street which is ennis only pedestrian street -> the market is where alot of the shops are, on friday & saturday there is a market.
i used to live there! now i live in america. i lived on lahinch court. in victoria court!!! do you knwo where dat is?
i know its a very small area close cranny south of lissycasey
Sometimes spellings are changed as they pass from person to person…. do you have roots in this area??
The Irish “Burrenfada” translates as “The Long Road” The village or “Townland” (smaller than a village) of “Burrenfada” is near Cranny just off the N68; Ennis – Lissycassy – Kilrush Road.
Hope that helps
James
