Open Question: Can employer force one to speak foreign language?

I am fluent in Spanish however I am refusing to speak the language. I work as a Concierge which is a service business however rely heavily on tips. Spanish people don’t tip and the more I help them the less I take home while my colleagues walk away with a good tips speaking only the English language. . Can an employer force me to speak a foreign language?
