Open Question: Do I need a contractors license to do this?

I want to start a small business “Caulking” homes. This will included removing old caulk from baseboards, sinks, baths, counters, plumbing fixtures, windows, doors, etc. And replacing with new caulk. Possible doing exterior work on windows, cracks in siding, etc.

I can get a business license and insurance, but is it completely necessary to have a contractors license for this kinds of work? This would be more catagorized as cleaning to me. No changes would be made to the structure or intergrity of the home.
