Open Question: How can I run a phone and fax together but still forward phone calls to my mobile?

Hi.

I have just started a business which I currently run from home. I am looking at buying a Brother – Fax-T106. The reason for this is because I want a Fax with both a phone and fax combined. Now the problem I have, I only have one free phone line at home which I plan on getting activated so I can plug it into my Brother fax/phone combi.

The question I have, if I do this can I forward the calls to my mobile but still receive the fax messages to the machine?

I am wondering whether the fax could tell the difference between the two because if not I guess I will be getting phone calls and faxes forwarded to my phone which would mean I would lose the fax messages.

If however this fax doesn’t do it, but you know of one that does, I would be glad to hear.

Could someone help me on this please? Thanks.
