Okay, so Im 14 (a freshman) and I really hate my high school. I go to the public school in my city and, I mean the education is decent, but the kids really just suck. They’re all really snobby and mean, and a lot of bullying goes on at my school. People, especially my ex friends have been starting rumors about me and are saying I talk crap about other people, which I never do! I could care less what everyone else is doing! I keep to myself alot and I focus on my own life. I never get into any one elses business but it seems people love to be in mine. And recently, i started talking to this kid Nick, and he lives in a city near by, but his best friend Chandler is in my gym class. Me and chandler were cool and he even introduced me to nick. Me and nick hit it off well and i guess for a while we liked eachother.. But yesterday chandler texted me saying ” i hate you, I heard you were talking shit about me” i was like “who said this and when?” and hes like “dont worry about it. and remember how I said I control your destiny with nick? yeah, your screwed.” and now they both hate me and they go back and forth about me on facebook.. like quoting things i used to say… and chandler comments on all the posts ive ever posted on nicks wall. like recently i posted and “LMS for” whatever and Chandler commented “yikes…too bad hes not into u” and then nick liked the comment.. I mean. Whatever. i dont even know what I did, but I guess theyre just arrogant.
Anyways, so Chandler is in my gym class and I stayed home from school today 1. bc I was tired 2. bc i didnt wanna hear and deal with his crap.. but im gonna have to tomoroow anyways.. ughh. And also, in my school…People that I dont even know exist.. think im a biiitch. Im like? Ive never talked to these people in my life and I have no idea why they hate me! Like this one kid jordan, starts rumors about me, makes fun of me to his friends constantly, and told my best friend he hates my fucking guts. like wtf? whatever.
Point is, I told my parents all this and they just say “its high school, its gonna happen whereever u go and it will be worse if ur the new kid” which i understand, but its not getting any better here… And I feel like all my friends are turning on me, and everyone takes advantage of me bc im nice to them. But I really need to get out of that school system. Its gotten so bad, to the point where Im starting to fail classes… forget things… and I dread going to school everyday. And my parents just WILL NOT let me switch! My dad says “Why should i pay $20,000 for a private school that you get the same education as you get in ur school.” i was like !! There are better opportunities out there for me, and yes, they come with a price, but, I mean, I cant take it anymore. Someone please help me with convincing my parents…
And also, last year (when i wa sin 8th grade) my parents said, and I quote “If you’re having a hard time and you really hate that school, we will let you switch.” And now theyre going back on their word! Ive dealt with this kind of crap my whole life and im fed up! If I could drop out now I would!
