I currently work Full-Time (40 hrs a week). But I also have a small home based business. I don’t really make much from that. Last year I broke even when I did my taxes.
My concern is that the company that I work for as an employee is laying off and terminating lots of people lately. If I got layed off or terminated, would I be entitled to get unmployment compensation? Or would the UC office say that I’m self employed because of my business? Obviously the majority of money that I make is from my 9-5 job?
