Open Question: What does helping out at a home daycare count as to colleges?

Hey everyone,
So for the past 2 years, my parents have created a home daycare at our house, and the kids that come are around 2 years old. 3 times a week, I read books to the kids, teach them how to draw, etc. for around 2 hours each time. Would this count as volunteer hours? I mean, it’s a real business…it’s just inside my own house. Does it still count?
