Will Jehovah’s Witnesses leave their children, family, friends, business, lands and way of life behind for the real truth of Christ, that sets them “free”?
They are certainly not free from the false teachings, prophesies, and doctrines that are holding them together now.
If Jesus sent His representatives to you today, and showed you that you are not “In His Truth”, would you leave all of the above mentioned things to “Follow Him”?
I left everything to follow the Watchtower 40 years ago, and soon realized that if I disagreed with any of their teachings, I would lose all of the new family, friends, and business associations I had assembled over the decades.
I distanced myself from my fleshly family, because they didn’t see the Jesus I learned to be “Michael the Archangel”, and the “dissolved body” of Jesus in the tomb that the witnesses teach, so I lost all contact with my mom, dad, sisters, brothers, and then a son, a first wife…all because Jehovah’s Witnesses were “right”.
I lost jobs, disregarded the gifts of music and art I had been given by God, and followed every word coming from the “faithful and discreet slave’s mouth”…for 40 years.
I was never happy, but kept telling myself I would soon be happy in their “truth”…that never happened.
I learned about the many false prophesies of the Watchtower that were hidden from our research, I learned about the many changing doctrines, claims of being a prophet, and of the Governing Body being led directly by Jesus as their covenant “mediator”. And then the hidden pedophiles and damaged children…this is not the “Truth” that Jesus preached.
I watched this large magazine business flourish, while we sacrificed our lives, and talents, and happiness.
We were promised love, and never found it..we were promised a family, but as soon as we asked the wrong questions, that family became a “bargaining chip” for the organization to use against us, so we would never leave.
When we left, this “loving family” hated, and shunned us, for believing that Jesus is our savior, not an organization.
This is called “Extortion”.
We did leave, and lost everything (what was left) again, in our need for real truth…the truth of Jesus Christ.
We have indeed gained trusted Christians as friends, away from all the churches…there is an amy of us…we who truly hear our Shepherd King Jesus’ voice.
His voice is not in the big congregation, nor in the organizations, nor in the rich homes…but His voice is within us now.
Do you hear the voice of Jesus, and His simple truth, as a child does?
Would present members of this organization “leave everything behind” Again, if they discovered they had been deceived by the WTBTS?
